Lefty’s puts money behind Maritime dirt track racing — not as a logo on a trailer, but as the sponsor who makes a race happen when it otherwise would not.
The races we put up
The Lefty’s Canna Street Stock 100 at R&R Speedway in Miramichi is back for its ninth running on 3 October 2026 after a year off, with Lefty’s as presenting sponsor — $1,500 to win, $175 to start, and free driver admission for anyone pre-registered.
Run What Ya’ Brung — the spectator drags — put $2,000 on the line in September 2025 for anybody willing to race the car they arrived in.
The cars we back
- Brad and Axten MacLean, car 13 — street stock and bomber. Axten finished 2nd in points at R&R Speedway in the 2025 season, with heat and feature wins on the final weekend. They run R&R, Speedway 660, RiverGlade, Petty International and Shediac Center for Speed.
- Bubba Francis — points champion at R&R Speedway, 2025.
- Kenny MacKenzie Jr. — took the car to Peterborough, Ontario for the big fall race, with Lefty’s among the backers who got him there.
- Devin Ward — 3rd in season points.
