A THC cartridge is a small, pre-filled tank of cannabis oil that screws onto a battery. Most use the standard 510 thread, so one battery works with cartridges from many brands. When a cartridge is empty, you replace it and keep the battery.
Cartridges and disposable pens
A disposable pen is a cartridge and battery built as one piece: you use it until it’s empty and it’s done. A cartridge needs a battery the first time, then each refill is just the cartridge. If you already own a 510 battery, a cartridge is the one to pick.
Reading the label
The label lists the total THC in the cartridge, its volume (usually 0.5 g or 1 g), the strain or blend, and the type of oil: distillate, live resin or rosin. Those four things are how to compare one cartridge with another. Ask at the counter if you’d like help reading one.
